Coastal Magic at Sunset
I went to the beach I usually visit during the day, around sunset. Since it was a cloudy day, I didn't have high hopes for the sunset. Unexpectedly, like the prelude to the main performance of a sunset concert, the sky over the sea began to be tinged with orange and pink hues. As if being drawn into a fairytale land, I walked barefoot closer to the sea. The ever-changing lights were mesmerizing. Pink, orange, vermillion, red... more diverse and vibrant than any palette of paints.

Cielo Series
The sky’s hues are in constant flux. From the intense crimson of a sunset to the serene blue after a rain shower, or even blanketed in fluffy white clouds or painted in soft pink hues—every shade casts a spell on my heart. Sometimes, I'm consumed by a fiery red, other times, I'm enveloped in a gentle blush or a clear blue. It's truly remarkable. What kind of energy does the sky possess that it can so deeply captivate my heart and soul?

Firm Foundation - Worship
In May, I went to a candlelight concert at the Santa Barbara Music Academy of the West. My eyes were drawn to a mysterious ancient tree in the garden that looked hundreds of years old. Its strong roots, like the talons of an eagle, were firmly dug into the earth, and its countless branches reached up to the sky as if extending its arms. It reminded me of Psalm 62.

Cherry Blossom - Blessings
Toby and I stumbled upon an orchard in full cherry blossom bloom. I wanted to capture the memory of that moment, a perfect gift that we thankfully embraced. It was a day when pale pink petals fluttered in the spring breeze, setting both my heart and Toby’s tail a-wagging with excitement. The soft pink petals fell from the sky like snow, piling up on the ground, literally creating a ‘flower path’ for us to walk on. It was truly a wonderful time.
