Cherry Blossom - Blessings
Toby and I stumbled upon an orchard in full cherry blossom bloom. I wanted to capture the memory of that moment, a perfect gift that we thankfully embraced. It was a day when pale pink petals fluttered in the spring breeze, setting both my heart and Toby’s tail a-wagging with excitement. The soft pink petals fell from the sky like snow, piling up on the ground, literally creating a ‘flower path’ for us to walk on. It was truly a wonderful time.

I walk between rows of trees stretching out in a line. As they reach towards the sky, the trees simultaneously extend their branches vigorously, grasping towards one another. Their organic forms create an arch, beckoning as if to offer an even cozier welcome. These trees hold immense energy, and similar energies draw each other in. Nature truly is mysterious. Toby and I simply walk among them, fully embracing and enjoying that time and space with gratitude.
Numbers 6:24-26: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

After finishing the painting, I look at it from the perspective of an observer. The countless petals shimmering in the sunlight reflect in my heart, shining like stars. My heart opens wide, bringing back those moments when I reunited with God.
It was God's embrace that welcomed and cherished me, just like the father who ran barefoot to embrace the prodigal son without question or judgment, wrapping me in His loving, warm arms. The tree branches, as if designed precisely for this, line up to welcome me, embracing me just like that. How could those branches have formed such a shape over such a long time, as if pre-designed?
Even today, God whispers to us. A small, soft but clear whisper: "Come to Me. Run into My arms. Here, springs of peace and joy overflow, which the world cannot give..."
I truly hope that my painting can convey this message of life to at least one soul.
