12"x12" Acrylic on Canvas
Original Painting
What are these two lost in thought, their feet dipped in the ocean‘s embrace?Lately, I’ve been exploring a technique where I start with acrylics and then layer oil paints for added vibrancy and depth. But for this piece, I decided to let the acrylics stand on their own. As I painted, I realized that sometimes, the ”happy accidents“ and loose strokes of casual painting get lost in the pursuit of perfection. While I often find myself adding more touches for refinement, this time, I embraced the beauty of simplicity and imperfection.Technically, this painting might not be perfect, but there‘s a certain freedom and breathing room in the simplicity and rawness of it all. ✨
