11x14” Acrylic on Canvas
I finally picked up my brush again to finish ‘The Waves of Big Sur’, a piece I started last December before my trip to Korea. I felt a slight wave of fear, wondering if I had lost my touch after several weeks away from the canvas. But as soon as I began, the hours of the morning simply vanished. Immersion in painting while listening to Pastor YongJo Ha’s sermons brings me such profound happiness. I am so grateful that I can paint. I guess I truly love it. I am thankful for this time of creation that calms and overcomes all wandering thoughts.
