Two Monterey Cypress trees, guardians of the coast, reach out their branches toward one another. Their limbs, intertwined as if holding hands, create a magnificent ’Arch of Love.‘ In this scene, I discover the mystery of ’community‘—the way we support and uplift one another in God’s grace. Just as these branches are woven together to form a sturdy fabric, our lives find their true strength and purpose only when they are knit together in love.
The radiant sunlight pouring through the trees is a sacred invitation to those standing in the dark shadows. This light, streaming through the arch, represents more than mere radiance; it symbolizes all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ. Toby, a small life walking along this warm and brilliant path of mystery with a shimmering presence, reminds us that God’s love is never distant—it dwells within the simple, quiet moments of our everyday lives. My hope is that everyone who views this piece—even those who do not yet know His light—feels invited to pass through this arch and walk together into the path of peace that God has prepared for us.
