Past, Current, and Future of Light
“Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause(1 Kings 8:49)” Last year, I was so excited to see the light rising in the sky at dawn that I would wake up early, put on my coat, and hurriedly go outside. I spent many days walking along the path of light, taking pictures of the magnificent changing sky, and thinking that I had to paint this. Then, the title of the group exhibition at the Morro Bay Gallery came up as “Chasing Light,” and I painted this right away. Please pray that the Chasing Light series will continue to allow me to paint good pictures that glorify the love and glory of God.
